Alumna Emily Jankauski MA ’16 LAS enjoys championing the accomplishments of her community through feature writing and meeting people who are passionate about their community. She enjoys these aspects most in her role as editor of the Mahomet Citizen. Emily says that UIS helped her make the jump from the classroom to the newsroom, and quickly became a place that helped mold her into an eager young professional.
