Reaching Stellar: The Campaign for the University of Illinois Springfield seeks to raise money from friends and alumni to add to the excellence of UIS programs for students and community. This month read about UIS alumnus Ricardo Montoya Picazo, Young Philanthropist. He earned his BA in Politics in 2010 and an MA in Practical Politics in 2012, and he already has a record of philanthropy to UIS. Specifically, he gives to the UIS Scholarship Fund, the UIS Fund, the Student Union, and the Illinois Innocence Project.
